How to Change the Text Message (SMS) Limit Per Conversation

By default, the Nexus One limits text messages to 200 messages per conversation. You can change this value to one that better meets your messaging needs.

1. Open the Messaging application.
2. Select the Menu key.
3. Select Settings.

4. Select Text message limit.

5. Use the + and - to change the value to the desired number or tap the number and use the keyboard to input the desired value.

6. Select Set.

How to prevent the screen from entering sleep mode while charging

If you would like to keep your Nexus One’s screen on while it charges so that you can make use of applications like the Clock app, you can but you need to know where to look. 

 

1. Go to the Home screen.
2. Select the Menu key.
3. Select Settings.
4. Select Applications.
5. Select Development.
6. Check the Stay awake checkbox.

Google Nexus One: How to Quickly Access Your Recent Applications

1. Go to the Home screen.
2. Longpress the Home key.
3. The Recent Applications window will appear.

Select the desired application or tap the Back key to exit the window.
